Do we think there are some people who just come out of the womb funny? Or do they need to grow up around funny people and go through ridiculous experiences with them to develop a sense of humor of their own? We bet some people would argue it people who had difficult upbringings tend to also have the best sense of humor because it's almost like a coping mechanism. You can either laugh at the absurd obstacles that come your way or fall into a hole and cry.
Parenting is one of those things that brings a lot of highs and lows into people's lives, and it's impossible to really know what you're getting into before you pop out that first baby. But one thing we think could help a lot of people as they decide how to survive the parenting lifestyle is a sense of humor. If you can laugh at yourself, and laugh at your kids, and let them laugh at you, all is good.
